DESCRIPTION: India's wireless giant Bharti Airtel (Airtel) exemplifies many of the tenets set forth in the book The New Age of Innovation by CK Prahalad and MS Krishnan. Divided into two segments, Case (A) asks students to analyze the Indian environment and Airtel's capabilities in order to determine strategies for growth. Case (B) reviews the strategies Airtel pursued and the subsequent results.
